When I entered the hobby I started with a 120 gal. tank and a lot of livestock that I bought from a buddy of mine who was getting out of the hobby for a while. It was a great tank and I got a lot of experience (and made a lot of mistakes).
A year-and-a-half later, the wonderful furnace in our house gave out on us and we needed to move out in order to abate the asbestos. Well, the last time we had had the floors refinished, the crew had told us that that was the last time. There were also a lot of problems in the house we had always meant to fix. So, we decided to go all out because we never wanted to have to move again. While we were at it, my family and I decided to we should also make our dream tank.
Thus started the big tank build.
