RSF Cerith Snail Larval Development: A Photoessay

My species of RSF Cerith snails are incredibly prolific and will breed in aquariums. I have collected a set of photos of one egg mass from different stages of development to both document this wonderful snail's developmental stages as well as try to establish what the best environment might be for maximizing survivability for juveniles.

According to my results, it looks like these Ceriths probably have a short planktonic life stage, so if I were trying to maximize production I would keep a population of these snails in a stand-alone aquarium and would probably use airlifts for water movement so that planktonic veligers would have the best chance to settle as juveniles.
